CYNTHIA GOODMAN

Cynthia Goodman is a senior appellate and law and motion attorney at El Dabe Ritter Trial Lawyers, with over 30 years of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex civil litigation.

Her practice is dedicated exclusively to legal analysis, motion practice, and appellate advocacy in state and federal courts.

Cynthia has authored innumerable motions and appellate briefs involving complex legal issues on a range of issues from the fiduciary duties of pension plan administrators to the rights of football players with brain injuries.

Her experience spans a wide range of civil matters, including personal injury, civil rights, professional malpractice, and business disputes. She has argued before the Superior Courts of California, the California Courts of Appeal and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

She is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of California. Cynthia earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School and her B.A. in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

In addition to her legal practice, Cynthia has contributed to several legal publications and has served in various civic roles, including as a founding member of the Malibu Community Alliance and a poll monitor in multiple election cycles.
